New Product Development Design Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with R&D experience?

Do you have experience with crushing, screening or other fixed equipment in the mining or construction industry?

We are partnered with a global, environmentally focused infrastructure and manufacturing company of asphalt road building and aggregate processing equipment. They are looking to add a motivated and proactive New Product Development Design Engineer to the team in Mequon, Wisconsin.

This New Product Development Design engineer will work in a team environment to develop innovative solutions and technologies and will be responsible for design efforts from inception through production.

Responsibilities for this NPD Design Engineer Role:

• Perform design engineering for product development and improvement projects.
• Effectively use 3-D CAD to model designs and use other engineering tools like FEA to optimize solutions.
• Analyse and create engineering specifications and drawings.
• Manage engineering changes.
• Be a technical resource in terms of operations, purchasing and service.

Essentials for this NPD Design Engineer:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, 3-D CAD software applications (SolidWorks preferred) and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Demonstrate technical and written skills to document ideas, designs and concepts.
• Accredited Bachelor of Science in Mechanical engineering or another related field.
• Able to travel to customer sites when needed.
