Group Business Development Manager - High Value Metals, Value Added Services and General Engineering Services

Based: North or Midlands

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Group Business Development Manager - High Value Metals, Value Added Services and General Engineering Services to work across the UK. This role is a Project Driven role and we are looking for applicants who have worked as a General Manager or Business Leader before also.

The business is a forward-thinking organisation that are technically strong and have a strong and well-respected brand. The company are part of a multi-million-pound group who set the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-time delivery service.

The ideal candidate will have strong Business Development or Sales expertise and has ideally worked as a General Manager or Business Leader in High Value Metals such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Nickle Alloys, or Titanium, alternatively they will consider candidates with experience of selling Value Added Services such as Machining, Cutting etc, they would also be interested in applicants with experience of selling General Engineering Services, they would also consider people who have sold Precision Engineering Services. Alternatively, you may have experience of selling other types of Products into Energy sectors such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation or Nuclear industries or you will have experience of selling Other Types of Metals or another type of Engineered Product across the UK.

As a Group Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for your own target and you will be measured on your financial results and overall profit made for the business along with how you integrate yourself into the overall group.

The client is looking to recruit someone who can grow and develop what is an already very profitable and successful business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company and wider group. The ideal candidate must have strong Sales or Business Development experience or will have experience of working as a General Manager or Business Leader in High Value Metals such as Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Nickle Alloys or Titanium, Value Added Services such as Machining, Cutting etc, General Engineering Services, Precision Engineering Services. They would also be keen to speak with candidates who have sold into Energy sectors such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation or Nuclear industries or of selling Other Types of Metals or another Engineered Product across the UK.

The company require applicants who is straight talking and honest, is self-motivated and organised. They are looking for someone who is an independent worker, brings a positive approach, is adaptable and flexible. They also require someone who can present themselves eloquently and succinctly, has good problem-solving skills but most importantly you must have a good technical expertise.
