The Geotechnical Engineer Role

The Geotechnical Engineer will report to the Geotechnical Team Leader; you will be involved in designing and developing structures both new and existing within Transport Infrastructure. You will work in a growing and experienced team of multidisciplined Engineers who like to collaborate and come up with solutions to tackle challenging engineering issues.

Geotechnical Engineer Duties

  • Geotechnical data review and Analysis
  • Perform design-related duties (60-70% of your job)
  • Site investigations and site inspections (10-20% of your job)
  • Stakeholder engagement, management
  • Preparations of proposals and technical reports

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in Civil, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years consultancy experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
  • Experience across steel and concrete systems to Australian Standards
  • Experience with software such as PLAXIS, Gint, GeoStudio
