Following some recent changes within the business, our client has asked us to recruit a Contract Account Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickle Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services to work across the UK.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach and will have a strong Key/Major Account Management, Account Management or Business Development background in either Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution or Manufacturing. They may consider applicants with experience of selling Value Added Services or other types of products into the Aerospace sector and any applicants with experience of dealing with Key or Major Accounts in the Automotive sector. Candidates with experience in Commercial Metals may also be considered.
As a Contract Account Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickle Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services, you will be measured on set departmental KPI's, overall Orderbook Management and adherence to On-Time Delivery. Also though, they are looking for someone who can work closely within a team and is very strong when it comes to analysing data as they are very much focussed on making sure that the order book is delivered and that the raw material will be in place for their key clients.
The client is looking to recruit someone who can grow and develop within the business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the wider group. You will be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who thrives on a challenge.
You will possess a strong Key/Major Account Management, Account Management or Business Development background in either Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution or Manufacturing, Value Added Services, of selling a similar product into Aerospace, of selling a similar product into Automotive or lastly you will have experience in Commercial Metals or something Metals related.
They require a candidate who has effective communication skills, who is confident in front of clients and is a good fit for the team. They will also look for a candidate who has strong commercial acumen, is very patient, is a team player and can work under pressure when required. They also need someone who is very analytical and has good problem-solving skills, who can manage demanding customers and can think on their feet.
The Key Selling Points of this role are they have a strong brand name and market presence, have a very strong position in the market, there are good progression opportunities in the company and the wider group as they are very much about investing in their people. Also, they see this as very much a Hybrid Working role so there will be a lot of flexibility in terms of where you work on a weekly basis etc.
