No two projects are the same, the Building and Construction Waterproofing industry is fast paced and may have lots of projects on the go at any one time so we are seeking an Estimator.

The projects can go from $10,000 to $3 million. This role is to be able to make recommendations of the suitable products, attend RFT (Request for Tender) meetings and ensure quotes are accurately created, ensure Gross Profit by liaising with the Project Management team.

Our client started from one small office, now they have over 100 employees, and they have become a trusted expert in concrete flooring solutions in commercial and civil construction, nationally. Their focus is on future growth; to allow this, they seek a new Chief Estimator to join their team.

They have great growth plans for their Sydney Office over the next 5 -7 years and believe this will be their flagship office going forward. Already, with such a short period of trading in Sydney, they have achieved exceptional sales and project completions. While building a great reputation.

Key tasks include:

• Manage all aspects of the quote and follow through the sales.
• Complete tender requests by the required dates.
• Access drawings and calculate estimations for projects taking in to account scope of works, product requests and substitutions when necessary.
• Manage accurate quote and job documentation.
• Liaise with clients regarding alterations or additions to estimations when required.
• Follow up calls after sending the quotations.
• Build relationships with the client and with the Project Management team.
• Guide and educate the client on different products and solutions.

Essential:

• Able to demonstrate project quoting/ estimates within the Waterproofing / Epoxy and/or sheet membrane industry.
• Proven Project Estimating / Quotation experience.
• Experience with one of more of the following:
• Planswift
• AutoCAD
• Workbench
• Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage Client relationships.
