AD Software System Engineer

My client is developing at an extremely high speed and seek innovators to launch autonomous driving products in Europe. They are looking to hire a Software Architect at their Germany office, in Stuttgart.

The company was founded in 2016 in China, with 1000+ employees then expanded to Germany in 2020. They are also opening an office in the US soon.

Through their autonomous driving technology and solutions, they aspire, in the next ten years, to save one million lives, save 100% driving time, and double the logistics and mobility efficiency.

The role is Hybrid and you will be expected to be in the Stuttgart office 2/3 days a week.

What you will do:

AD Software System Engineer (L4 & L5) designs the architecture and software systems required to enable autonomous driving, such as perception systems, localisation systems, decision-making algorithms.

The main task is to analyse the software architecture.

• The software logic is in C++ of which 20% - 30% of the job is coding

What you will bring:

• Over 5 years experience within Smart Tech, ideally Autonomous Driving (At least L4)
• Very good coding skills in C++ and Python
• In general the following software stack is preferred: C++, Python, GIT, Linux
• Experience in ADAS is preferred, because it is easier to understand how autonomous driving software architecture works
