Leading mid-tier precious metals producer, tipped to be Canada's largest gold discovery in some considerable time, who are already in well established production, requires experienced Chief Underground Engineer / 2IC TSM on a FIFO 2/2 from any Canadian city.

Well funded, and already in full execution, our client has exceptional facilities and LOM to attract some of Canada's very best operators.

Reporting to the new Technical Services Manager, an extremely well qualified and experienced CSG recent introduction, this newly created, and highly visible role, will see you advancing your underground career in technical services, for this well publicised operation, while you lead the engineering department and manage the execution of the mine plan. You will also back to back with the TSM, as 2IC; providing a consistent strong engineering capability at all times on the operation.

With extraordinary life of mine ahead, our client is already producing some of the highest grades seen 'in country' for some time; and has sizeable tenement rights in exploration that are producing very exciting results..

As such, applications are invited from experienced Chief Underground Engineers, or Senior Underground Engineers who have exceptional capability, aptitude and attitude, to FIFO in, from any major Canadian city; on a two weeks on, two weeks off, roster.

Subsequently, I am very interested to hear from those with Canadian work rights, that have a minimum of 5 - 10 years' post graduate experience in underground technical services; to include leadership, support, and mentoring of engineers and technicians to develop their career; experienced in the design, evaluation and support of mining operations in dewatering, ground control, and ventilation; devise and deliver longhole drilling programmes; distribute and develop directives to operations with tight engineering standards / integrity; create 12-18 month rolling production plans based on budget and LOM planning. This is an opportunity for those that want to be part of an exciting growth journey. Experience in AutoCAD, and Deswik design and scheduling, a significant advantage; in addition to a tertiary mining engineering degree; and, ideally, on a pathway to P.Eng status; if not there already.
